ER Home Design is a full-service interior design studio, serving homeowners and builders on projects of all sizes. When construction is involved, we create detailed CAD drawings, which translate ideas into clear, buildable plans - helping align everyone involved and ensuring each decision is intentional, accurate and well-coordinated.

Hi, I'm Emily Robbins
A native of Franklin, Tennessee, I grew up surrounded by a strong sense of place, community and family - values that continue to shape both my life and work. With deep roots and many relatives in the Nashville area, I come from a tight-knit and wonderfully eclectic family - an even mix of creatives and accountants.
That balance of artistry and logic has influenced my approach to design: intuitive yet disciplined, expressive yet highly considered. It's this blend that allows me to create spaces that are not only beautiful, but thoughtfully planned, functional and enduring.
My Story
I graduated from Franklin High School before heading to Auburn University, where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design. Those early years in Middle Tennessee, paired with a formal design education, laid the foundation for a career grounded in both creativity and practicality.
Design excellence, cultivated over time
I started my career in Atlanta, where I spent sixteen formative years with a respected kitchen and bath design studio, starting as an assistant and growing into a leadership role that eventually led to part ownership. That experience built a deep foundation in space planning, construction and collaboration.
Afterward, I spent two years at a design/build firm, where I developed and led the interior design department - establishing processes, guiding projects from concept through construction and collaborating closely with architects and tradesmen to ensure cohesive, well-executed results.
In 2018, I returned home to Nashville with the intention of being closer to family. The phone began to ring with friends, referrals and new connections asking me to design spaces for their homes. That is when ER Home Design was born.
